VISITORS FROM NEPAL

On Wednesday July 4th, a group of 22 girls from Mugu (Nepal), who are competing in the Donosti Cup, have visited San Mames, Guggenheim Bilbao Museum and Ibaigane with the support of the Athletic Club Foundation. The team is organised and directed by Bhojraj Bhat, a film director who won the Thinking Football Film Festival in 2016 with the film Sunakali, which told the story of girls who use football as a way of asserting themselves in a rural society in the high mountains of Nepal, who condemned them to the role of premature wives. Precisely to avoid arranged marriages of the girls, Bhojraj Bhat is maintaining the Sunakali project in Mugu.
