All’s set to play in Augsburg

Everything is ready in Augsburg for the dispute of the fifth matchday of the UEFA Europa League Groups Phase between FC Augsburg and Athletic Club (19:00, WWK Arena -Augsburg- Artur Dias -POR-, BeinSport).

On Thursday, 26 November, following UEFA regulations, the organizational meeting was held at the WWK Arena facilities from 10:30 hours under the direction of the UEFA delegate, the Georgian Dimitri Bokeria.

Among the decisions made at this meeting, in addition to discussing sporting, administrative and security regulations to abide by during the match, the decision about the kits to be worn by both teams was also defined. On the part of Athletic Club, our team will sport black jersey with red shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be donning an all green kit.

On the part of FC Augsburg, the players will be sporting an all-white kit while the goalies will be wearing an all-blue uniform.

The attendance of some 24,000 spectators is expected, with the presence of 1,200 rojiblanco followers. It is currently raining and the temperature is 2 degrees, which is expected to be -2° degrees at game time.

Also this Thursday, the Athletic Club institutional representation has celebrated the traditional luncheon with leaders of the German club and UEFA representatives.
