Nevado and Uriarte on the way to the U-19 European Championship
The two young red-and-white girls are on the Spanish team’s list for the qualifying mini tournament in Iceland for the European Championship.
Athletic Club players Nerea Nevado and Naroa Uriarte have been called up by the Spanish U-19 team for the preparation phase of the European U-19 Championship. The red-and-white footballers have been invited to the training sessions that will take place in Las Rozas from 23 to 25 September together with 22 other footballers. With four dismissed players, coach Pedro Lopez will call 20 players for the qualifying mini tournament to be held in Iceland between 30 September and 9 October.
The state team will face Kazakhstan (Wednesday, October 2), Greece (Saturday, October 5) and Iceland (Tuesday, October 8) in this tournament on the way to the final phase of Georgia 2020.
