Iñigo Lekue has been the main character in the pressroom of Lezama after the penultimate training session of the week for the Athletic Club. The lions will face Real Valladolid on Sunday in San Mamés (18:30 h), a clash that Lekue described as “dangerous“. The defender analyzed the Pucelanos in this way: “They play the ball very well and they have quality players at the top, especially on the flanks, quick enough to get well inwards and reach the goal“.
The winger did not want to set any long-term objectives for the team and prefers to focus on the next clash on Sunday, after the last two negative results: “We want to regain the good dynamic. We are even more eager after this break and we want to go back to the feelings we had at the beginning of the League. In the changing room, we have not been affected by the last two defeats, we are confident about our game, about how we train and how we prepare the matches. We’re strong at home and we’re going to play forward”.
