Positive weekend for our youth academy
The victories of Bilbao Athletic and CD Basconia against Cultural Leonesa and Portugalete stand out among our teams of Lezama
During this weekend, our youth academy teams have finished their respective matches as this way:
Bilbao Athletic won against Cultural Leonesa 1-0 in Lezama with a goal from Zarraga in one of the outstanding fixtures of the category in the Second Division B. Joseba Etxeberria’s squad have their second consecutive win and are now in second place in the classification, tied with the Leónese, and four points behind UD Logroñés.
CD Basconia beat Portugalete 2-0 in Florida to continue a ten-game unbeaten run. Patxi Salinas’ team is fourth in Group IV of the Third Division.
Women B achieved a meritorious 2-0 victory over CA Osasuna to consolidate their position in second place in the Reto Iberdrola Norte, two points behind leaders FC Barcelona B.
Juniors A lost in the 19th day of the Division of Honor against UD Logroñés by 2-1. This is the third defeat of the season for Imanol de la Sota’s team, which continues to lead with 7 points over the second classified. Juniors B drew 0-0 in Lezama against Aurrera de Vitoria and continues to lead the classification.
Women C beat Derio in Lezama and continues leading the classification.
In the Cadets category, A won against Indautxu 6-0 and B beat Cultural de Durango 6-3. Both continue to lead in their respective categories. Cadets Women won against Arratia in Lezama.
