Return on Sunday and celebration on Thursday

Athletic Club return to Bilbao this Sunday, eager for Thursday to arrive as soon as possible so that, from La Gabarra, they can present the long-awaited 25th Copa title to the Zurirgorri family.

With eight LaLiga 2023/24 fixtures remaining, and Champions League qualification still to play for, Athletic has decided to focus all the Copa triumph celebrations on a single day, Thursday, April 11.

On that date, after 40 years and six consecutive lost finals, La Gabarra, with a team of champions aboard, will finally set sail again and celebrate this new triumph with the Athleticzale family.

Furthermore, with the side's charter flight to Bilbao still to be scheduled, the Club wishes to communicate that the team's arrival at Bilbao Airport will have restricted public access due to logistical reasons concerning the airport's operational security.

In the next few days Athletic Club will provide full details regarding the programme of events for the celebration of our 25th Copa title, which, as mentioned above, will take place on Thursday, April 11.
