Both teams were well aware of the other's threats and the majority of the first half played out like a chess match as they looked to nulify said dangers.

With the exception of the goal, Moller threatened with a shot in the box, while Zubieta and Azkona kept the away side on their toes at the other end.

The young keeper gave her team a lifeline and the packed Lezama stands came to life.

The game was still open, but Athletic had taken control of the ball and were determined keep their unbeaten run alive, especially in front of their own fans.

Athletic had a penalty shout when Nahikari García was brought down in the box, but the referee didn't give it. The forward was fouled as she looked to get on the end of a rebound from a Jone Amezaga shot.

The fired-up crowd cheered to the end and the Lionesses thought they'd found an equaliser as Kathellen Sousa cleared off the line to stop Athletic scoring from a corner.
