II International Junior Tournament

After three months of competition, the open phase of the II International Junior Tournament has reached a decisive moment.

Last Saturday, and despite all the obstacles, the second classifying group from Gipuzkoa was disputed at Lezama, with Mariño from Irun as the resulting winner.

This coming Sunday, 15 June, the Final Inter- regional Phase will be played from 10:00 to 14:00 (uninterrupted), among all the pre-classified teams. The resulting winner will get an invitation to participate in the international phase in August, along with teams such as Athletic Club, Real Sociedad, Nantes (FRANCE), Oporto (PORTUGAL) and Sao Paulo (BRAZIL).

Admission will be free, and one can see some of the best teams from Euskal Herria.

The classifying teams are:

BIZKAIA: Santutxu, Cultural from Durango and Ugeraga from Sopela.
GIPUZKOA: Eibar and Mariño from Irun.
ARABA: San Ignacio from Gasteiz.
NAFARROA: Peña Sport.
IPARRALDE: Local selection.

There will be two matches at 10:00 and 11:00, the semi-finals will be at 12:00, and the Final will begin at 13:00.
