A Women’s Team

‘A’ Athletic Club women’s team will start this season with the following players:

Goalkeepers: Elixabete Capa and Uguzne Mezo, who continue from last year and Andere Legina who was in the Leioa team.

Defenders: Izaskun Gaztelu, Aitziber Juaristi, Vanesa Rodríguez, Leire Zabala, Nerea Uriagereka and Irantzu Castrillo continue forming part of the team together with Eztizen Etxebarria cominf from Leioa.

Midfielder: Arrate Orueta, Lorena Sánchez, Silvia Del Val, Julene Guarrotxena and Itziar Gurrutxaga, all of whom belonged to the team last season.

Forward: Nerea Onaindia, Eva Ferreira, Belén González, Elisabet Ibarra, Jessica Gómez and Iraia Iturregi continue from the previous season. New players are: Maider Real, from Zorrontzako, Irune Murua from Retuerto, Gurutze Fernández joins Athletic Club after playing this season in Oiartzun and Lexuri Angulo, who played with Athletic Club the Cup after belonging to the Bizkerre team all season.
