Gurpegi’s Appeal

This Wednesday, 12 November, player Carlos Gurpegi has interposed an appeal against the resolution by the Spanish Committee for Sports Discipline (CEDD), dated 31 October 2003 (File 206/2003 and 216/2003), in which it was agreed to: “Reject the appeals interposed by Athletic Club representatives and Mr. Carlos Gurpegi Nausía; thereby confirming the resolution of the Royal Spanish Football Federation Appeals Committee dated 12 June 2003, which confirmed the previous resolution by the Competition Committee (dated 6 May 2003), and to lift and leave without effect this Committee’s resolution of 13 June 2003.”

The above-mentioned appeal has been interposed before the Central Court of Administrative Litigation and, likewise, the preventive suspension of the imposed sanction has been requested.
