Athletic Club is in Istanbul

The Athletic Club expedition has arrived in Istanbul around 20:00 local time. A temperature of 18 degrees, some rain drops and the expectation of the numerous media is what they found on their arrival. After the post-flight dinner, the red-and-white expedition has programmed their activities for Wednesday, 3 November. Joseba Etxeberria will offer a press conference at 10:30 hours for the media that have travelled from the Basque Country and at 12:00 hours the squad will take a short stroll. In the evening, at 20:00 hours, Ernesto Valverde will offer a press conference at Inonu Stadium and at 20:30 hours, in the same place, the team will hold a training session. As had been announced, Vice-president Ana Urquijo has headed the expedition, accompanied by the following members of the Board of Directors: Juan Bustamante, Juan Carlos Ercoreca, Juan Manuel Delgado and Fermín Palomar, as well as by Jose Angel Iribar.
