The LFP will not execute guarantees

This Thursday morning, 4 November, the Delegate Commission of the Professional Football League (LFP) has decided unanimously, to not execute the endorsement corresponding to Athletic Club’s previous Board of directors.

President Fernando Lamikiz, representing the club in the meeting, has shown his ‘enormous satisfaction’ by the decision and has done so in two ways: ‘In the first place because it has been approved unanimously, and that is very important when we look at the unity of the Professional Football League (LFP) and, on the other hand, because it has actually demonstrated what we revealed in the Assembly, that we were going to defend the interests of the club and do everything possible so that the endorsement was not executed and, finally, we have obtained it’.
