Valverde will wait until the end to decide on the injured players

Ernesto Valverde has offered the official press conference at Maurice Dufrasne in Liege before the last training. In it he has indicated the most important issues are as follow:

‘We will wait until the end to see how the slightly injured players evolve’.

‘It is the last match and although it is a mini-league it has the characteristics of a final. The atmosphere is important; they will have the stands in their favour as we have them in San Mamés ‘.

‘It is not important that we have not won away matches (in League and UEFA). It is a match that we are all waiting for, I suppose Standard is also’.

‘The ground is very well, it is large; there will be good atmosphere and it will be cold, all the ingredients to see a good match ‘.

‘We know the Standard players, the strikers are very dangerous, but also Conceiçao and Geraerts. What I like most about them is the enthusiasm they play with, up front and they pressure well’.

‘A draw would favour us, but we cannot commit the error of thinking about a draw. We have come to win’.
