The Athletic Club expedition in Vienna

The official Athletic Club delegation is in Vienna, concretely since its arrival at the airport of the Austrian capital around 18:15 hours on Monday. Afterwards, they have travelled to the Marriott Hotel in several buses, since in addition to members of the board of directors, players, coaches and employees of the club, the first few hundred fans have also arrived.

They have all been welcomed by the cold, with a temperature of 0 degrees to be precise, and just as the experts have indicated the temperature will tend to drop during Tuesday and Wednesday. Likewise, the turf of the Ernst Happel Stadium will notice it and the risk of an icy playing field at the time of the match is evident.

For Wednesday, a press conference by Joseba Etxeberria is scheduled at 10:30 hours in the Marriott Hotel and the players will tour the city around 11:30 hours. In the evening, Ernesto Valverde will appear before the media at 19:30 hours and immediately afterwards the team will carry out its last training session before the match at Ernst Happel Stadium.
