Our female team has today been able to round off a great achievement in the Mini Estadi of Barcelona and, after defeating their hosts by 0-2, and thereby obtaining their third consecutive Superliga title, that is to say, the same number of participations in the championship as the number of victories for Athletic Club. At present, no mean feat, the team coached by Iñigo Juaristi has obtained the title undefeated, with a total of twenty wins and six draws. Hundreds of rojiblanco fans witnessed their triumph at the Mini Estadi and later celebrated the victory on field with the players. After the celebrations the return flight to Bilbao airport with an estimated arrival time of 17:30 hours.

In the other decisive match of the day, Levante defeated Sevilla 3-2.
