Bilbao Athletic prevailed over Real Sociedad B by 1-0. Both teams went to the halftime break with a nil-nil draw in a match in which the goal opportunities were conspicuous by their absence. In the second half, however, the rojiblancos overcame their rival, having had more opportunities, and in the 79th minute Iturriaga scored a header for the 1-0 final result.
