The Club has been advised by the RFEF that there are four possibilities for the last three league match days that are left in the competition. All this has come about because of the match between Sevilla and Barcelona, which was suspended last Sunday, 23 April.
‘1) If Sevilla does not qualify for the final of the UEFA Copa, the suspended match will be played on 10 May, which means that the Official League Schedule will remain unaltered.
2) If Barcelona and Sevilla do not qualify for the European Finals, the suspended match will be played on 10 May, which means that the Official League Schedule will remain unaltered.
3) If FC Barcelona does not qualify for the Champions League Final, the suspended match will be played on 3 May and the 36th, 37th and 38th National First Division League match day rounds will be played on Sunday, 7, Saturday, 13 and Tuesday, 16 respectively.
4) If both teams qualify for the European Finals, the suspended match will be played on 3 May and the abovementioned match day rounds will be played on Sunday, 7 (36th match day); Sunday, 14 (37th match day) and Saturday, 20 (the last match of the season, the 38th).
The last two options require FIFA’s authorization and, in any case the RFEF will advise all the clubs of the final decision made once the European Semi-Final matches, which the two teams will play on 26 and 27 April, are over with’.
