Player Injury Update

Luis Prieto: Myofibril injury in the middle adductor muscle of the right leg. He will have a magnetic resonance done tomorrow and this will indicate the seriousness of the injury. The injury occurred during the match played against Celta de Vigo at San Mamés where the player had to leave the field.

Roberto Martínez ‘Tiko’: Anterior crossed ligament tear in the left knee. He is still undergoing physiotherapy treatment and doing gym work (bicycle, weights, etc..).

Joseba Garmendia: Left leg adductor muscle overload. The player’s state of health was re-assessed last Friday when a magnetic resonance was done, after he had complained of further discomfort in the left adductor muscle. The resonance showed a slight injury to this muscle and this will hinder his return to the group.

Ustaritz Aldekoaotalora: First degree myofibril tear to the middle adductor muscle of his left leg.

Pablo Orbaiz: Internal lateral ligament of his left knee is swollen. Both players are progressing nicely.
