Valencia-Athletic Club: Line up

The Athletic Club line up: Lafuente; Murillo, Ustaritz, Sarriegi, Expósito; Orbaiz, Javi Martínez; Aduriz, Yeste, Gabilondo and Urzaiz. On the bench: Alcalde, Dañobeitia, Amorebieta, Llorente, Etxeberria, Iturriaga and Casas. Iraola has not been included in the line up.

The Valencia line up: Cañizares; Miguel, David Navarro, Ayala, Cerra; Albiol, Edu; Joaquín, Silva, Villa; and Morientes. On the bench: Butelle, Angulo, Vicente, Baraja, Tavano, Hugo Viana and Curro Torres. Jorge Lopez and Pallardó were not included in the line up.

In the morning the Red/Whites visited Mestalla, whose turf has been affected by the rain, at 11:30 hours. At 14:00 hours they had lunch and in the afternoon, following their afternoon tea Coach Félix Sarriugarte offered his strategic talk. At around 20:30 hours the team arrived at Mestalla and shortly afterwards so did the referees and the components of Valencia.
