Antena 3 clarifies Miguel Angel Revilla’s excuse

Antena 3 would like to clarify and lay emphasis on things that were stated on the letter in which the President of Cantabria, Mr. Miguel Angel Revilla, apologized to Athletic for the statements he made to Antena 3 Television on 18 November
The interview in which those statements take place lasts exactly seven minutes and twenty-five seconds, and not over a half hour as Mr. Revilla assures.

Indeed the tone of the interview was colloquial and relaxed, but at no time during the interview does the Antena 3 Television reporter make a mention of Athletic Club of Bilbao or to its squad philosophy. The exact question was the following: Mr. Revilla, Do you like the process of ‘Cantabrization’ of Racing of Santander? To that question, Mr. Revilla responded as we all well know which gave way to the subsequent apology.

Once this clarification has been made, Antena 3 Television would also like to express its utmost respect and admiration for Athletic Club of Bilbao, its Board of Directors, Technical Staff, the Squad, its philosophy and, for its excellent fans and supporters.
