The Cadets heading to Qatar

Athletic Club’s Basque League Cadets are scheduled to be travel to Qatar between the 16th and 23rd February, and will dispute three friendly matches against the players (resident team) of the Academy for the excellence of sport, Aspire; in Doha, Qatar.

Aspire is a top-notch international organisation whose mission is to identify, educate and train world-class athletes to compete in professional sports at its highest level. ASPIRE has exceptional means, among which are: facilities for education and recreation, modern rooms, an amphitheatre, reading rooms, seven outdoor football pitches for training and state-of-the-art fitness and physiotherapy halls.

The Academy, whose name means to seek out, stands out for a philosophy whose objective is to make students progress in every respect, through their academic and sporting development, so that they may have greater opportunities in their adult life.

Teams like the Bayern Munich and Real Madrid reserves, among others, have attended Aspire.
