Amorebieta, sanctioned

The Appeals Committee has rejected the appeal lodged by Athletic Club and have ratified a one match sanction against the player Fernando Amorebieta. They have also denied the requested pre-emptive suspension, even though the Spanish Committee for Sports Discipline does not meet until Friday, rendering any type of appeal useless.
