Basque Country-Catalonia history at the Athletic Club Trophy Hall

Saturday’s match, 29 December 2007, between the Basque Country and Catalonia’s National teams is not new to San Mamés. On 1 January 1931, both national teams disputed a similar match with a victory by the Basques, by 3 to 2.

In the next few days, the Athletic Club Exhibition and Trophy Hall (San Mamés, Gate 26), will be displaying items from that historical match disputed 76 years ago: original photographs, tickets, tricolour coat of arms, etc.
