The second jersey for the 2008-09 season will be Dark Blue

Dark blue has been chosen for Athletic Club’s second sporting uniform which the club will use during the 2008-09 season, the decision being based on the votes received by the club via our Webpage over a one-month period. Just as it had been announced on 25 January, there were many different colours to choose from and 21,113 opinions were expressed.

The most voted for colour was blue with 10,825 or 52.36% of the votes though (5,749 people voted for Dark blue and 5,076 French blue) followed by green with 5,111 or 24.21% of the votes. Concerning the other colours, red received 2,561 or 12.13%, of the votes, however, 1,585 or (7.51%) of the Internauts preferred any other colour than the ones on the list and 1,031 or (4.88%) voted for white. The new jersey will replace the black one, in line with the substitution process established, which states that the jersey is to be replaced every three seasons.
