Athletic Club is in Murcia

The Athletic Club expedition is in Murcia to face Real Murcia this Wednesday, 7 May. The squad left at 18:20 hours from Bilbao’s airport and landed at San Javier at 19:35. The weather is pleasant, 22 degrees on the expedition’s arrival which is headed by Vice-president Fermín Palomar. From the airport and in the club’s bus they headed to the NH Amistad Hotel in Murcia where they were greeted by over a hundred fans, who have paid the team a warm welcome, especially to Carlos Gurpegi. The player received a trophy from the South-eastern Supporters’ Clubs Association and a personal letter from the International Federation of Athletic Club Supporters’ Clubs.

Afterwards, the players Aduriz and Gabilondo have signed autographs and have been photographed along with dozens of fans who patiently waited the queue. Both were present for the team’s dinner at 21:30 hours.
