As of Tuesday the 13th of May, the uniform worn by Joseba Etxeberria during the match against RCD Mallorca played on 4 May, when he got to the second spot for the most number of League matches played in Athletic Club history, will be on display at Athletic Club’s Exhibition and Trophy Room (San Mamés, Gate number 26).
In recognition of this achievement, of more than 400 matches played in First Division, achieved by just a few, a get together will take place from 18:15 onwards in the Exhibition and Trophy Room (the media are invited) and the three Athletic Club players who have played, to date, in the highest number of Championship matches on a regular basis: José Ángel Iribar (466 matches), Joseba Etxeberria (415) and Txetxu Rojo (414) will be present.
