Final stages of the Beach Football Tournament

Last Sunday, 15 June the final stage of the Athletic Club Fundazioa Foundation’s III Beach Football Tournament was held at Arrietara Beach (Sopelana).

The semi-finals began at 09:00 hours for the Youngest and Youngsters categories and the finals at 11:00.

To top it all off, and after the finals were played, the Athletic Club Ex-Players Association participated in a beach football exhibition match which was played on dry sand on a field which had been fitted out for just this with stands for the public to boot.

For the finals and for the award ceremony an ample representation from Athletic Club and Sopelana Town Hall were present.

The event was held on a day of a festive nature. So, those who came to Arrietara were able to enjoy playing with inflatables, games involving aim, 4×4 matches on dry sand and infantile games among other activities.
