Ion Vélez and Gorka Iraizoz appeared in the San Mamés press room this past Tuesday, 6 January. Both have agreed that the Copa is an attractive competition and Osasuna is not going to throw it away, far from it. The forward stated that he considers himself based in the team and with no time to think about previous matches. The goalkeeper, on the other hand, indicated with regards to whether he’d be starting, that it is up to the coach and, on another order of things he declared that the team is very united, there’s a great environment and they are quite eager.
