Javi Martinez and Koikili, in Press Room

Javi Martinez and Koikili Lertxundi have been the players designated to appear in the Lezama press room on Wednesday, 25 February.

The midfielder, who suffered a blow on his outer tibia, coincidentally caused by Koikili, declared that he feels it’s only a bruise, but that it’s going to be looked at better. In his opinion, ‘he trains intensely and that is good’, while at the same time he’s recognized that he prefers to train without shin guards. Finally, he stated that ‘whoever wins Saturday will get a boost of morale for the Copa’.

Koikili, besides wishing that Javi Martinez’ injury turns out to be nothing, emphasized that ‘right now we are only thinking about Saturday” and that ‘the players always want to play’.
