Javi Martínez and Gabilondo, in Press Room

On Wednesday, 18 March, it was Javi Martinez and Igor Gabilondo’s turn in the press room. The first indicated that he feels fine after the blow he suffered when he crashed with Huntelaar, that the team is conscious that they must add points and has recognized that ‘we’ve spoken and we must get back to work so as to not make any more mistakes’.

On his end Gabilondo, when asked about Yeste’s sanction, said that ‘it’s there and that’s it’, although he added that it came about as a result of refereeing decisions and that, in that sense, the referee didn’t measure both teams equally. With respect to the match against Villarreal, an opponent he described as difficult, he stated that ‘I’m ready to play and help my team mates out’.
