Freestyle in San Mamés

Telefónica and Athletic Club bring you the world’s freestyle football elite to San Mamés. During the interval of the match between Athletic Club and Mallorca, the freestyle stars will perform for the fans in the San Mamés centre field.

Freestyle is a modality in which there are no goals, no opponents, and no referees… The only rules are imagination, creativity, agility, style, ability and ball control with which performers demonstrate that ball and body all become one.

Iya Traore, World Freestyle Champion; Arnaud Sean Garnier, Champion of the ‘Red Bull Street Style Cup’; and Mathieu Leclair, French champion, will perform this exhibition.

Additionally, on Saturday morning, 4 April, and as part of a prize that Telefónica presents to Athletic fans through the Website www.soydelathletic.com, a freestyle clinic, taught by these star football performers, will be held at the Lezama facilities.
