Iker Muniain donates his jersey

This morning Iker Muniain donated to the Athletic Club Museum the jersey with which he debuted in First Division. This past 30 August 2009, during the Athletic Club 1 -RCD Espanyol 0 match, Muniain became the youngest player to debut in Liga with the rojiblanco team in the 79 seasons of this competition, since its creation in 1928-29.

This way, the jersey of the novel Navarrese forward goes on to become part of the Athletic Club Museum collection, along with garments from former Athletic players like Acedo -precisely the youngest player to debut in an official match -, Lezama, Koldo Agirre, Argoitia, Rojo, Iribar, Zubizarreta, Sarabia, Guerrero, Larrazabal or Urzaiz, just to name a few.
