Athletic Club in Bremen

The Athletic Club expedition is already in Bremen to dispute the second match of the Europa League groups phase this Thursday, 1 October, against the local team. The rojiblancos departed from Bilbao Airport on a charter flight at 10:00 hours, headed by Club President Fernando Garcia Macua.

Although arrival was scheduled for 12:30 hours, they’ve landed twenty minutes earlier. Travelling on the same flight were 150 fans and about twenty journalists. It’s not raining in Bremen, but skies are gray and the temperature is 11 degrees.

The players are scheduled to have lunch at 14:00 hours and after the siesta they will head out to Weser-Stadion to carry out the official pre-match training session. Afterwards, Manager Joaquin Caparrós and Captain Joseba Etxeberria will offer individual press conferences at the stadium.
