Official suit presentation

On Friday 23 October at 13:00 hours, the official suit for the 2009/2010 season was presented to the media, in accordance with the signed agreement between Athletic Club and Mangas, who will be providing the First Division team with the official suits and accessories until 30 June 2010.

During the event that was held in the shop that this company has in Gregorio de la Revilla nº 12 (next to Campuzano Plaza), the First Division team players Gorka Iraizoz, Carlos Gurpegi, David López, and Fernando Llorente were there on behalf of Athletic Club, and on behalf of Mangas, their General Director Francisco Javier Guillén Barba.

The designed model for the occasion is unique and has been tailor made for each player. The charcoal grey Italian style suit is 100% wool and its main novelty resides in the fact that it has been personalized with the club’s official crest. What’s more, the jacket’s lining is iridescent maroon and its plush is aubergine-coloured, with 4 open buttons in the cuffs, inclined pockets without an additional pocket inside and made of 2mm pique.

The shirt has been designed in a fitted pattern, in a white 100% cotton Oxford fabric, deep open neck, classical cuff and sharp backstitch. The tie is made of natural silk, plain red in colour (corporative club colour)
