Laura Raccio Lanner, an Italian tourist from Elba Island, has been Athletic Club Museum’s 100,000th visitor, and therefore Athletic Club Fundazioa Foundation, has awarded her with a premier team jersey autographed by all the players.

Ever since Athletic Club Museum opened its doors, there’ve been more and more people visiting year after year. With the opening of the Museum, Athletic fans have been given the opportunity of discovering La Catedral in a totally different way (the VIP Box and Lounge Area, changing rooms, press room, the bench…), and better getting to know the rojiblanca history.

At this time, in addition to the permanent collection, (composed mainly of the most important trophies achieved by our club since 1902, and the evolution of Athletic kit since 1903), we have ventured on offering a series of temporary exhibitions, something quite unusual in soccer museums. Thus, since the inauguration of the Hall, it’s been possible to see, among others, samples dedicated to Pichichi, Manuel Castaños, the 1956-57 European Cup, the 1976-77 UEFA Final, the 2006-07 Superliga, the 2009 Copa, and a wide variety of monographs dedicated to the history of Athletic anthems and the last Champion team.

Athletic players and former players, authorities invited to San Mamés, newspapers, radio and television stations from all around the world have visited our facilities; as well as a multitude of ‘anonymous’ visitors (among whom are Catalans, British and Italian…).
