Toquero’s injury

Gaizka Toquero: Has sprained the deltoid ligament of his right ankle. The player received a direct blow in his right leg, during this morning’s training session and after having a accidental collision, resulting in the player having slightly sprained the deltoid (or internal lateral) ligament of his right ankle. His evolution will be assessed tomorrow so that a diagnosis can be given.

Eneko Bóveda: Has fractured his left foot’s fifth metatarsal bone. He will be operated on next Tuesday 1 December 2009.

Iñaki Muñoz: Luxation of the peroneus tendons of his left ankle. Operated on.
Iban Zubiaurre: I degree myotendinous tear to the right medial adductor muscle
Aitor Ocio: Recurring luxation in his right shoulder. Operated on.
The three mentioned players are carrying on with their functional re-adaptation work though in different stages and are undergoing physiotherapy treatment.
