The Austria Wien line up: Safar; Dragovic, Bak, Klein, Diabang, Junuzovic, Liendl, Sulimani, Baumgartlinger, Suttner and Acimovic. On the bench: Almer, Hattenberger, Schumacher, Ortlechner, Vorisek, Topic and Krammer.

The Athletic Club line up: Iraizoz; Iraola, Amorebieta, San José, Castillo; Gurpegi, Javi Martínez, Iturraspe, Yeste; Muniain and Llorente. On the bench: Armando, Etxeberria, Gabilondo, Diaz de Cerio, Susaeta, De Marcos and Orbaiz. Ustaritz and Aitor were not called up.

Refereed by Svein Oddvar Moen and his linesmen Odd-Jarle Larsen, Svein Inge Wiken. Goal-line assistant referees Espen Berntsen and Tom Harald Hagen and Svein-Erik Edvartsen as the fourth official, all of whom are of Norwegian nationality.

Prior to the match getting underway several Red-White players were harassed in the surroundings of Vienna’s Cathedral. Athletic Club, who were made aware of this, have taken the necessary steps with those in charge of security to ensure the team’s journey to the field and their safety once the encounter is over with.
