Llorente, in the pressroom

Fernando Llorente was the main attraction in the pressroom on 9 December. He recalled his substitution in the match against Valencia: ‘At the time of the blow it was impossible to continue. I tried but couldn’t anymore and had to ask for the substitution. From the beginning the centres knew what they had to do and gave it their all’. What’s more, he added that he was pleased with the team’s attitude: ‘With one player less we were close to taking home something positive out of all of this’.
