San José and Koikili, in the press room

Mikel San José and Koikili Lertxundi were the main attraction in the press conference room in Lezama on 19 January. The centre fullback stated that they were three very important points in view of the ones obtained against Real Madrid, “an especially complicated match”. He thought that he had been doing things well from the moment he had started playing in Vienna: “I am working so that things continue improving and I feel more confident each time. I’ve only played in six matches, I’m 20 and all I want to do is keep playing and learning”.

The left winger stated that “Real Madrid is a very difficult team to beat and the victory is a bit more special. The sensation is similar to the one after beating Sevilla in the Copa semi-final. We’ve had a couple of days off and now, thinking of Deportivo, to get something out of A Coruña and to keep on improving”.
