Koikili and Gurpegi, in the press room

Koikili Lertxundi and Carlos Gurpegi were the speakers in the press room in Lezama on 12 April 2010.

For the defender the duel was, “easygoing for the fans. But not for us, as Almería made us run a lot and work to the max to win the match. People enjoyed themselves because of the victory and the goals and that too is good. We’re self-confident, and it shows in our game and this is very important for the team. Now it’s Valencia’s turn, at a complicated field and let’s hope we can bring home the three points. The team has another air around them and this is good to be able to continue behind our objective”.

The midfielder pointed out that, “the results at San Mamés have been very good and let’s hope they stay that way. At home we’re going after everything, getting ahead on the scoreboard and it’s a shame that away from home we have opportunities, but aren’t winning, yesterday against Almería we had fun and the sensations are good. In midfield I feel more comfortable and I hope we can notch up such a yearned for victory away from home in Valencia”.
