VIP Box at San Mamés

In the presidential box at San Mamés, to witness the intense match against FC Barcelona, were, Biscay’s Regional Head, José Luis Bilbao; the Mayor of Bilbao, Iñaki Azkuna; Basque Government Representatives, Carlos Aguirre and Rafael Bengoa; Popular Party President for the Basque Country, Antonio Basagoiti; the Mayor of Getxo, Imanol Landa; Congressman Josu Erkoreka; Juan María Aburto, the Social Action regional representative; Bilbao councilmen and women, Txema Oleaga, Alfonso Gil, Julia Madrazo , Beatriz Marcos and Eduardo Maiz.

Also in attendance were Sabino Arana Foundation President, Juan Maria Atutxa; Antonio Fraguas ‘Forges’, accompanied by Jesus Zulet; Juan Carlos Matellanes, ABAO President; Jose Manuel Esnal ‘Mané’, Athletic Club’s former coach, Juan Maria Nin, La Caixa’s General Manager and Javier Leanizbarrutia, Bilbao bullring doctor.
