Borja Ekiza, the latest fruit from Lezama

Borja Ekiza Imaz, Iruñea (Navarre), 6 March 1988, is the latest fruit, at the moment, that the factory in Lezama has given the team. He started out in Txantrea and then made it to our cadet team, and has experienced days tinged by all the colours at the Lezama football fields, in the dorm in Derio along with his current team-mates San José and Muniain, as well as Iñigo Pérez, Julen Goñi, Ismael López, Eguaras, etc., he waited until opportunity came knocking on his door, and after three seasons with Bilbao Athletic, he has made his debut in the Premier team where he intends to stay as demonstrated in the twelve consecutive matches already played.
