Players´ Injury Update

Aitor Ocio; Carlos Gurpegi; and Xabi Castillo are continuing with the functional re-adaptation program and are receiving physical therapy.

Igor Martínez sustained a Grade I tear on his femoral bicep in the right leg in a practice session in Lezama, Friday the 9th. He will begin physical therapy and functional re-adaptation.

Borja Ekiza, Iban Zubiaurre and Oscar De Marcos are home due to colds and high fevers.

Fernando Llorente suffered a minor injury in the match that Athletic played in Iruñea. He sustained an injury in his inner hip area. Depending upon how the healing process progresses in the next few hours, a decision will be made as to his participation in the next match.
