The first half has been rather even but with the rojiblancas having most control of the ball against a new team in the category. In spite of conceding two goals in the first half, the Catalan team Levante Las Palmas has done a good first half and its players have fought for all the balls. Athletic took the lead in the minute 20, when Erika pick up a pass within the area and the later cross by Ibarra was shot on goal by Gurutze off the far post. With no time for the visitor’s reaction, the rojiblancas increased their advantage five minutes later after Nekane took advantage of a long pass and before Monica’s exit just tipped it enough to send the ball to the bottom of the goal mouth.

In the second half, the rojiblancas took control of the match and the only goal occasions were for Athletic. Sarita grabbed Eunate on the right wing; Ibarra brought the ball short to Erika and Iraia took advantage of the Navarrese’s pass to sentence the match. In the 70th, Ibarra could have scored the fourth with her left, but the ball ended up on the post. In the 80th, a good play between Olabarrieta and Nekane, however Eunate was unable to hit the target. The one that did not miss was Erika in the 84th, which after dribbling past the visiting goalie and a defender found room to send the ball into the net.
