IMQ pays homage to Athletic Club and UPV/EHU

On Friday, 8 March, IMQ will pay tribute to Athletic Club and UPV/EHU, as well as to the 130 students that offer medical assistance every Sunday in San Mamés. The act will take place at 21:00 hours at Sociedad Bilbaina.

The dinner will be attended by the Basque Government Health Counsellor, Jon Darpón. Representing Athletic Club will be its Managing Director and the head of the club’s medical services, along with the players Carlos Gurpegi, Iñigo Perez and Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta. UPV/EHU will be represented by its Director, Iñaki Goirizelaia and the Dean of the Biscayan campus, Carmelo Garitaonandia, among others.

On the other hand, in attendance and representing IMQ will be the President of Grupo IMQ, the Managing Director and General Manager, Pedro Ensunza, Jose Andrés Gorricho and Mitxel Duñabeitia, respectively.

In the event, the UPV/EHU students will donate 711 Euros to the Food Bank of Biscay. The amount they collected from a contest carried out by this university in which their project of lending medical assistance in San Mamés came in second.
