San Mamés demolition continues

San Mamés Barria wishes to communicate that, as of 13 June 2013, the demolition work of San Mamés stadium is progressing according to the initial plans.

Removal of the seats and non-dangerous debris will be carried out, first from the Main Grandstand followed by the mid goal stands, and later the rest of the field. Also removed will be the fibre-cement tiles. The corner located next to the ticket office has also been demolished.

Next week, as of 17 June, the Main Grandstand and half of the goal ends will begin to be demolished. The work will be carried out based on the following criteria:
– Dismantling of the roof beams.
– Demolition of Main Grandstand.
– Demolition of mid goal stands.
– Dismantling of the arc.
– Demolition of the arc supports.
