Joint communiqué of ten clubs

In relation to the varied information that has appeared in the media, in which the operator Mediapro makes reference to supposed delays or non-payment on the part of CANAL+ to the clubs with which it has existing contracts, the clubs Atletico de Madrid, RC Celta de Vigo, RCD Espanyol, Getafe CF, CA Osasuna, Real Sociedad, Real Zaragoza, Athletic Club, Real Betis and RCD Majorca would like to clarify that CANAL+ has meticulously and without delay fulfilled all the payment obligations that appear in our contracts.

In addition, we would like to accentuate the harassment policy that the operator Mediapro has been carrying out for over a year against some of us clubs that have signed contracts with CANAL+ and which has led to successive lawsuits and non-payment of important amounts agreed upon in our previous contracts with that operator; amounts that have already been claimed to Mediapro judicially.
