Basque League of Adapted Indoor Football

On Tuesday morning, 29 October, the presentation of the Basque League of Indoor Adapted Football for the 2013/2014 season has taken place in Lezama.

Jokin Garatea, in representation of the Athletic Club Fundazioa Foundation and Porfirio Hernandez, President of the Basque Adapted Sport Federation, organizers of the Liga championship, took part in the presentation.

The championship, that also counts on the collaboration of the provincial federations and the Real Sociedad Foundation, will be disputed among the associations of persons with intellectual disabilities (Gorabide, Geu Be, Atzegi, Apdema and Uribe Costa), and will be developed in two categories: competition and adapted.

The matches will begin on Saturday, 2 November, and the competition will last until the next month of June 2014.

The implication in the organization of the Basque League of Adapted Indoor Football by the Athletic Club Foundation falls within its social responsibility program and the work it has been performing for quite a long time benefitting groups at risk of social exclusion in Biscay.
