The Athletic Club expedition, in Naples

The Athletic Club premier team expedition is in Naples (Italy) to dispute first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off on Tuesday, 19 August, at 20:45 hours (San Paolo, TVE1).

The rojiblancos departed from Bilbao at 10:08 and landed in Naples at 12:01 hours. From there, they transferred to the Vesuvio Hotel, where they will be lodged. Lunch is scheduled for 13:30 hours and the team will hold the official training session in San Paolo Stadium at 19:00 hours, with a previous press conference by Ernesto Valverde and Carlos Gurpegi. On their arrival in Naples the skies were clear and the temperature was 25 degrees.

President Josu Urrutia, accompanied by several Board members and the sports director Jose Mari Amorrortu, who addressed the press in Bilbao airport, has headed the expedition.

Travelling on the same flight were several Athletic Club fans as well as journalists; 206 people altogether.
