Claudio Tamburrini and Honey Thaljieh in Thinking Football

Thinking Football Film Festival will be inaugurated in exactly one week, on 9 February at 19:30 hours in Sala BBK of Bilbao, with the projection of the second part of ‘Football Rebels’. The film, directed by Gilles Perez and Gilles Rof, and presented by Eric Cantona, gathers the stories of five football players who took a step forward and became social heroes through football.

Two of them will be present for the inauguration of the festival and will engage in dialogue with spectators after the screening of the film. One is Claudius Tamburrini (Almagro goalkeeper jailed and tortured by the Argentine dictatorship of Videla, who escaped from the torture centre infamously known as Mansión Sere) and the other, Honey Thaljieh, the driving force behind the Palestine national women’s team and its first captain.
